Is Free less secure?
No. Free and Plus use the same encryption with the same parameters. Plus sells convenience and usage, not better encryption.
Can I decrypt without Plus?
Yes, always and without a limit. There is no paywall in front of your own files, not even when a subscription ends.
How does activation work?
After the purchase you get a Plus key. Paste it here or pick the key file you saved. Plus then applies in this browser. There is no account and no login.
Can I cancel Plus later?
Plus is planned as a yearly subscription that renews until you cancel and is managed through the Stripe customer portal. While the purchase is not enabled, there is no subscription and no cost.
